It’s been snowing all day today, and it’s set to continue. This is the first snow our two male alpacas have seen – they were indoors last winter. They weren’t very impressed to start with. The llamas, however, have seen it all before – apart from Lulin of course. They happily lay down in the snow and hardly seem to notice it. Lulin was a bit puzzled at first, but soon adapted.
The turkeys are definitely uneasy. I guess they realise that if it’s snowing, Christmas can’t be far away …
A sad update. Our little Aisling died when she was just two weeks old. She stopped thriving and got weaker. Anti-biotics and vitamins didn’t help, and she slipped away. We miss her.
