Noz, Limoges at Night and Violet Chocolate
by llamalady
I’ve blogged about Noz before. It’s a chain of bargain stores that send end of lines and other remaindered stock. Caiti was at the one in Gueret today and look what she found. London Olympics 2012 souvenirs! I have to wonder how they ended up there.
And talking of Caiti, she gave me some Mother’s Day pressies on Sunday when we met her at 8pm at Limoges station. We won’t say anything about the fact she was meant to get in at 3.40pm but owing to cutting it a little fine in getting to Bordeaux on the tram she missed her train. Like I said, we won’t mention it but here are a couple of nice photos of night-time Limoges.

Limoges Station

The park with its fountain
Hot on the heels of mine and Chris’s evening out in Montlucon after my doctor’s appointment eating Doner kebabs in a bus shelter, I now had another unexpected night out with a meal (Quick burgers) and a pleasant walk around the park outside the station which is where the ladies of the night congregate apparently. (It must have been too early for them!) The two boys passed the time happily playing on Benj’s tablet.

That stormy sky announced hail and rain!
But of course I’m not talking about it!
Back to the pressies. This was one of them, and it really does taste as delicious as it looks like it will.
