Paris-Nice 1933 and 2013

The 2013 Paris-Nice cycle race starts tomorrow and in celebration let’s look back to that of eighty years ago. We have a lot of editions of an old sports newspaper, Match, from 1932 and 1933, and one of these is about the Paris-Nice race in 1933. Here are some fabulous photos from that great event which was won by the Belgian cyclist Alphonse Schepers. Here he is on the cover.
