7 and 700

Today marks seven years since our arrival in France to stay, so it works out rather well that this is also my 700th post on this blog.

We’d bought Les Fragnes at the end of June and spent a fortnight here, doing a few odds and ends around the place, but it was 13th August when we arrived with two cars, one trailer, three kids and a dog, and the fun really started. We had very few possessions with us since the bulk were in a container and wouldn’t be arriving for another ten days. Our lives here began as a camping holiday.

We’ve come a long way since then, and seeing these photos makes we realise what at lot we’ve achieved since then in terms of doing up the houses and grounds, establishing a successful business and changing our lives.
