I mentioned that I’d signed up with Postcrossing.com recently. The site describes itself thus: ‘Send a postcard and receive a postcard back from a random person in the world.’

Well, as a random person I’ve been sending postcards, and receiving them. I’ve had  four this week and it’s been a great boost to find cheery postcards from interesting corners of the world in the postbox.

Here are my five so far…

Mt Fuji001

Mt Fuji from Emi in Japan.

Minsk001

This is from Vita in Belarus.

DE2024794001

Franckische Schweis from Luise in Berlin.

RU1589908001

Summer Melody from Alyona in Arkhangel in Russia.

DE2047151001

Colourful wool from Annett in Germany.

Aren’t they great? I’m looking forward to getting lots more soon. The postcards I’ve received have travelled 17,147 km between them. And the ones I’ve sent have covered 47470. Kind of awesome!
